This volume contains a selection of papers presented within the Information and Documentation Sciences section of the Anniversary Colloquium “Bucharest Letters. 160 years of existence”, held between 2 and 4 November 2023, at the Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest.
The papers cover three major areas of interest: the identification and training of the necessary skills for specialists in the field of information and documentation sciences, the traditional and modern aspects of the activity of Romanian libraries and the contributions that professors of the Faculty of Letters from the past or present have had to the development of the theory and practice of the field.
