About the Press

EUB-BUP publishes scholarly works—including treatises, monographs, specialized dictionaries, and the results of in-depth investigations (involving archival documents or fieldwork)—as well as edited collections covering various research themes (sometimes featuring international authors), university textbooks, exercise and problem sets, seminar and laboratory manuals, scholarly books by renowned Romanian authors, proceedings of national and international scientific events, volumes in foreign languages, books with international (co-)authors or (co-)editors, and national and international scientific periodicals (such as the *Annals of the University of Bucharest*). These publications generally reflect the educational, training, and professional scope of the University of Bucharest. Aligning with the academic disciplines of the University’s various faculties, the works fall within the research fields defined by the University of Bucharest Research Institute (ICUB), alongside interdisciplinary publications. To enhance the visibility and coherence of its publishing portfolio—and to showcase the scholarly quality of the volumes—almost the entire EUB-BUP output is organized into specific series.

EUB-BUP publications are protected by Law no. 8/1996 on copyright. EUB-BUP is a member of the Romanian Publishers Association (AER).
