Synopsis

In the play La Curación by Jesús José Angulo Hernández, sisters Concepción and María travel to a desolate Toluca suburb for an illegal abortion. After a violent fall, Concepción experiences a horrific nightmare involving a deceptive child and police brutality. Upon waking, she undergoes a moral shift, convincing María to reject the procedure.
