Traducciones al rumano de autores hispanamericanos. Análisis de la traducción al rumano de la novela CRÓNICA DE UNA MUERTE ANUNCIADA de Gabriel García Márquez

We propose to analyse the Romanian translation of the novel Chronicle of o Death Foretold of the Colombian Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Gárcia Márquez, in the version of Tudora Șandru Mehedinți, following the model offered by General Rhetoric as proposed by Tomás Albaladejo, Francisco Chico Rico and Stefano Arduini, among others. The intention of our approach is to highlight the progress made in the translation of literary texts from Spanish-American literature and to emphasize the professionalization of literary Romanian translations.
