思维互文视角下的中国文化英译中的“汉语腔英语”表征分析 / CHINGLISH REPRESENTATIONS TYPES IN ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS OF CHINESE CULTURE AND THE THINKING-MODES INTERTEXTUALITY ANALYSIS

The translation of Chinese cultural discourses into idiomatic and fluent English is the requirement of high-quality translation. Based on the real Chinese cultural translation corpus, this paper shows the representation types of Chinglish representations in the translation of Chinese culture at various levels, like serial verb constructions in English translation, the same word repetitions, the Order of Chinese original text, perfunctory expressions, and stiff tone representations. This paper, therefore, proposes corresponding solutions from the perspective of thinking-mode intertextuality so as to provide some guidance for translators and researchers in China. This discussion, hopefully, is to enhance cross-cultural communication and competence, to better serve readers at home and abroad, and to make contributions to the going global of Chinese culture.
