MARILE MITURI ISTORICE ÎN DISCURSUL ORTODOXIST AL CLASEI POLITICE ROMÂNEŞTI

This work insists upon aspects of historical mythology present in Romanian political debate. Starting from the concrete case of the debate about Orthodox Church, the author underlines elements of myths of Romanians people genesis, of foreigners enmity and of Romanians superiority over foreigners, as they appear in political speech. From this perspective is also proposed an investigation of the mythology of December 1989 Revolution. Finally, the upraising question is, first of all, if this situation somehow expresses a bewilderment in searching values in Romanian society and second of all, a weakness of a political class which doesn't seem able to focus on the essential.
