This volume is the first in a series aiming to present representative excerpts from the bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral theses of graduates from the Faculty of History (full-time or distance learning programs) specializing in medieval history—some of whom trained within the “Dimitrie Onciul” Seminar on Historical Methodology. Thus, the Notebooks of the “Dimitrie Onciul” Historical Methodology Laboratory are intended to serve as an educational platform for showcasing and promoting the research findings of students from the Faculty of History at the University of Bucharest, particularly those specializing in medieval and pre-modern studies.
