O PASSÉ SIMPLE E O PASSÉ COMPOSÉ NAS TRADUÇÕES PARA PORTUGUÊS EUROPEU E BRASILEIRO DE EXERCICES DE STYLE DE RAYMOND QUENEAU
Synopsis
The work proposes to analyze the translations to European and Brazilian Portuguese of two texts from the set of 99 of Exercices de style by Raymond Queneau.
In this work, the French author rewrites in 99 different styles the same story of a young man with a long neck and a hat with a cord instead of a ribbon: on a bus, this man gets angry with another passenger, accusing him of pushing him on purpose.
After this, he sits down in a vacant seat. Later, the narrator sees the young man at Saint-Lazare station, where a friend advises him to change a button on his overcoat.
