UNIDADES FRASEOLÓGICAS EN LA NOVELA LA SOMBRA DEL VIENTO, POR CARLOS RUIZ ZAFÓN. UN ESTUDIO COMPARATIVO ESPAÑOL-RUMANO

In this work, we propose to carry out a comparative translation analysis based on a parallel corpus: on one hand, the novel The Shadow of the Wind, written by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, and on the other, its translation into Romanian, done by Dragoș Cojocaru. As the high number of phraseological units present in the text does not allow us to analyze all constructions, we limit ourselves only to idioms that contain words naming body parts or animals within their structure. Thus, in the first part of the work, we present the theoretical framework of phraseology and translation studies. Regarding phraseological units, our reference point is the classification of these constructions proposed by Gloria Corpas Pastor (1996), who considers that they encompass: collocations, idioms, and phraseological utterances.
