Nicolae Densușianu, a historian and bibliologist, distinguished himself through the organization of the National Military Library and his research in European archives and libraries, making an essential contribution to the consolidation of Romania's documentary heritage. Emanoil Bucuța, a writer, publicist, and bibliologist, played an active role in promoting public libraries and education through reading, advocating for the professionalization of librarians and cultural policies dedicated to books. The study highlights the impact of these two personalities on the evolution of Romanian library science, emphasizing the importance of libraries in the cultural and educational context of their time.
