This paper examines the dynamic transformation in library user behaviours as digital advancements have prompted a shift from traditional to digital users. Libraries now face the challenge of meeting the needs of modern users who prioritize quick and efficient information access, often remotely. This evolution necessitates libraries to not only provide digital resources but also to foster digital literacy through tailored user education programs. As library roles adapt, librarians are tasked with acquiring new technical skills and actively engaging in virtual spaces to guide users in navigating digital resources effectively. Libraries strive to balance offering expansive online collections, accessible through digital catalogues and databases, with maintaining the relevance of physical collections. This dual approach enhances user satisfaction and positions libraries as pivotal centres of information in a technology-driven society. Effective communication between librarians and users remains essential to support information-seeking behaviours, enabling users to engage with both digital and traditional resources seamlessly.
