数智化时代译者能力优化路径探析——以“丝路书香工程”罗马尼亚文项目为例 / PATH ANALYSIS FOR TRANSLATOR COMPETENCE ENHANCEMENT IN THE DIGITAL INTELLIGENCE ERA: TAKING THE ROMANIAN TRANSLATION OF CHINESE BOOKS WITHIN “SILK ROAD BOOK PUBLISHING PROJECT” AS AN EXAMPLE

After the proposal of the “Belt and Road” initiative, there has been a notable increase in the dissemination of Chinese culture overseas. Relying on various translation projects, a large number of Chinese books translated into Romanian have been published. The author took the opportunity of serving as a reviewer for the “Silk Road Book Publishing Project” to analyze some of the issues in the submitted drafts of the Romanian translations and attempted to evaluate the translators’ bilingual, cross-cultural, and normative competences in comparison to digital tools. The author believes that in the era of digital intelligence, coexistence of humans and machines is an inevitable trend. Translators should make good use of artificial intelligence technology to enhance their translation competences, strengthen their normative awareness, and maintain human advantages in cognitive judgment and moral aesthetic aspects through lifelong learning.
