Concurența supin – infinitiv/conjunctiv în limba română actuală

This research aims to specify, through statistical data, the competition between the supine and the other two verbal moods in contemporary Romanian, based on the CoRoLa corpus. The reference element is the supine and its position in the current language in different structures. The syntactic contexts of its occurrence are examined, while secondary data regarding the strict competition between the infinitive and the subjunctive, resulting from the quantitative study, are outside the scope of our research.
